We have watched across decades while conservative evangelical congregations turned the Jesus we were raised with into the complete reverse of who we understood him to be. A Damaging Christianity Gains Ground

In the 1950s it was restrained by dilution – The Protestant faith was so dominant that it essentially baptized the status quo.
A Struggle for the Best Among Us
Hence I have become inspired to witness the persistent defiance against Trump emerge during the previous year.
